Built in 1895 and transformed into a community hall in 1963, Clayhidon Village Hall is an ideal venue for every occasion — from birthday parties and meetings to sports groups, live bands, and community groups.

Located in the beautiful Blackdown Hills in Mid Devon, the hall offers easy access to Wellington, Taunton, and the surrounding area.

We aim to provide a welcoming, well‑run, and friendly community space. If you have any special requirements, we will always do our best to accommodate them. Please get in touch if you would like to book the hall for your event or to discuss running a group.

The main hall can accommodate up to 97 people standing or 60 seated. Facilities include a fully equipped kitchen, a car park at the rear, free superfast broadband, and audio‑visual equipment suitable for a wide range of events.
